Home of Drones For Good®
and AAM for Good.

We are America’s leading non-profit organization saving lives by advancing uncrewed aviation for public safety, emergencies, and disaster response.

The Airborne International Response Team (AIRT) was founded with a single vision; to provide innovative airborne capabilities that help people prepare for, respond to, and recover from complex emergencies and major disasters.

Since our creation in 2017, AIRT programming has expanded to support public safety and emergency services organizations across the U.S. and around the world to build and manage uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) programs. These resources protect property, restore critical infrastructure, and help save lives.

As UAS technology proliferates, AIRT is evolving it’s Drones For Good® program through our newest non-profit program, AAM For Good. Learn how you can get involved and support our Drones For Good® and AAM For Good missions!

Airborne International Response Team

Launched in 2017 as our flagship program, the Airborne International Response Team (AIRT) works with domestic and international partners across all sectors to advance the use of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) for emergency response, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief (HA/DR).

AIRT is the official home of the DRONERESPONDERS Program, established in 2019 as the world’s leading non-profit program supporting public safety agencies and emergency services organizations using UAS and related technology for life-safety missions in more than 85 countries.

Created in 2021, the Florida Public Safety Coordination Group (FLOGRU) serves as a model for states to share information and knowledge about government drone operations between the public and private sectors.

AIRT’s Drones For Good® program is designed to educate target audiences about the many benefits of solving problems using UAS and related technology for a wide range of use cases.

Launched in 2024, AAM For Good is AIRT’s newest program uniting stakeholders across all sectors to explore how the emerging advanced air mobility ecosystem can positively impact communities for public safety, emergency services, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief (HA/DR) missions.
